My son, the Rip, tells me last week that if he could grow just 20 or 30 Marijuana plants he could make a cool $100,000.
"Its easy Dad!" he says.
"Hmmm...yes...easy" I say. 'Its a wonder everybody's not doing it"

That kid of yours!!!! from where I sit this is hysterical. Actually, you're response is hysterical (but I would expect nothing less).
Get him to pick up the coke cans and do the dishes.
Yes, Gewels, its pretty funny all in all. I have stopped preaching to him...he will have to come to sobriety like I did...like a refugee.
Yep, dead easy......... Of course, every business enterprise has its risks, and his horticulture plans might end in being the wrong side of a lot of locked doors. But I suppose that's seen by him just like I see winning the lottery.
Unlikely.
As tempting as it might be, I hope he's not gone into the farming business. The price for getting busted is more than he wants to pay I'm sure.
Gewels, the way coke can prices are going these days-- I don't think it's worth the gas to get to the recycling place!! Stinks.
Tina
oh dear, first the running of the red light, now he wants to start a farm, where will he turn next?
$100,000 from 20 or 30 plants? Seems like plants the size of the magic beanstalk. Only in America! Okay, serious now, I'm with Barbara here when she says "The price for getting busted is more than he wants to pay I'm sure." I grew the things in my back yard for years, but the worst that could happen (and most of the tie did happen) was that some punk fomr the neighborhood would beat me at harvesting. Well, I had some friends who had a half large plantation goin who were found out by the cops, but I think they got away with a reprimand. Tell The Rip to move to Holland, at least he's safe here.
