"We’ve got ninety-nine per cent the same genes as any other person. We’ve got ninety per cent the same as a chimpanzee. We’ve got thirty percent the same as a lettuce. Does that cheer you up at all? I love about the lettuce. It makes me feel I belong.” — CARYL CHURCHILL

Cucumber!
it gets a lacklustre press sometimes, but I like cucumber, I like the taste, the crunchiness, the coolness, but.....
I've never felt the need to put it on my eyes.
lettuce ...... ahhh, right. i always found my leafy cousins a bit limp, a bit wilted ....xxx
Good to see you happy, Steve. Indeed I do too feel like I belong in nature... the head of lettuce is my cousin, the banana flie too. A pack of wolves I totally understand. It's only towards my fellow man, whith whom I may share up to 99.9% DNA, I feel unconnected, but perhaps putting some slices of cucumber on my eyes will make all the difference. Hey!
Martijn
I heart lettuce. and chimpanzees and you Stevie!
