I LOVE A GOOD LAUGH IN THE MORNING

Embrace

You know the parlor trick.
wrap your arms around your own body
and from the back it looks like
someone is embracing you
her hands grasping your shirt
her fingernails teasing your neck
from the front it is another story
you never looked so alone
your crossed elbows and screwy grin
you could be waiting for a tailor
to fit you with a straight jacket
one that would hold you really tight.

~ Billy Collins

Red, I've added a video for you.
I guess you missed Alice by a couple years. When i was in the 10th grade, he really struck my morbid bone. Love the bass line in this; I started to post it yesterday.
I think this was from his album Killer. If I were to suggest an AC album, I'd go with Billion Dollar Babies.
Hi Red!

Alice appeals to my morbid side as well - quite the showman isn't he?
