Watching Steven Tyler screech his way through the National Anthem at the AFC Championship game last week reminds me of when I went to see America back in 1976. It was an outdoor show down by Austin, back when you could still take ice chests and guns and stuff. It was the only concert I ever went to where the crowd crashed the gates….to get out.
Yep…it was during “Sister Golden Hair”.

"It was the only concert I ever went to where the crowd crashed the gates….to get out." Fabulous. What's an ice chest?
Oh, I know allready. Ain't I stupid tonight.
Hey martjin! This is actually a comment I left Mike a few years ago. He brings out the best in us don't he?
Yeah those were the days....."when you could take ice chests and guns and stuff". Such a shame about America. At the same time they recorded music that made the crowd crash the gates to get away from, they recorded Hat Trick. Granted there is one really, really awful song on it but after that, it is very tasty. One of my favorites to this day.
Hi SL! I don't know any of those songs on Hat trck, cept Muskrat Love. I'm hoping maybe thats the "horrible song"?
Is there something worse?
Bulletholes, yeah that's it. I was too embarrassed to type the name, it's so bad!
Oh thank God! We can still be friends!
