"People have got to know whether or not their President is a crook. Well, I'm not a crook."
Richard Nixon, November 17, 1973
Here is Nixon trying to steal my belt buckle.
It reminds me of Kathy's Peaches.
And Sweat and Underwear.
And Red Lobster.

Great Photoshop job!
Two days ago I say a fantastic documentary about Dr. Daniel Ellsberg and the Pentagon Papers affait. And you know: those Nixon tape recordings and the ease and cynisism with which he spoke about nuking Viet Nam... still sending shivers down my spine, even though it was before I was born. No Nixon wasn't a crook... that would be devaluating the word crook. And Hitler wasn't a rapscallion.
Cowboy! That's an awesome pic of you and Mr. Nixon. I'd want that belt buckle too. I'm of the cynical mind that most politicians are crooks to some degree or another. Tricky Dick just happened to be dumb enough to get caught.
xxx
